Lunch.
Asparagus Souffle, in a parmigiano reggiano cream sauce just divine. ! !
Artichoke and Endive Salad, light and crisp.
Homemade farfalle pasta tossed in an asparagus sauce. heaven !!!!
Homemade baked Canelloni stuffed with ricotta and spinach, very good indeed !!
The food was so good we decide to share another mains. We tried the Veal Tagliata with shaved parmesan, an aged balsamic on a bed of rocket. It really was a bit special if I say so myself.
Had a side dish with it of very lightly battered vegetables, onion, zuccini, carrot, asparagus and artichoke, very tasty.
To finish off a strawberry infused panacotta, again superb.
All in all that was one of the best lunches I have ever had, without a doubt. !!!!
