Leaving Umbria for Tuscany

Sunday morning 13th May. After breakfast at Borgio di Carpiano we packed our bags and left the province of Umbria for the 2 and half hour drive to Montalcino in the province of Tuscany. We were in for a shock though, from warm sunny weather in Umbria, we were actually swimming in the pool in Borgo, the weather had turned quite cold with a bitter wind running through the walled town of Montalcino. Good job we each brought a top coat and a sweat shirt with us. Anyway first thing to do was to check in at our quaint B&B  Palazzina Cesira and to meet our hosts Roberto and Lucilla. Our Last Full Day @ Borgo di Carpiano

Well it got to Saturday 12th May, our last full day at Borgo. We had a wonderful stay in a fantastic location. Ricardo and Marilisa are fantastic hosts. It was a pleasure to see them both again after 7 years.
